The aim of the association

AIM OF THE ASSOCIATION: The protection of human rights of people with autism and their families

Objectives of the Association are:

  1. Improving quality of life of people living with autism and their families with a focus on conservation, protection, improvement and promotion of internationally established standards of human rights and civil liberties in the Republic of Serbia in accordance with law;
  2. Initiative for the adoption of long-term program for development and raising awareness of the promotion, protection and promotion of human rights and civil liberties, clearly defining the requirements for promotion and protect the human rights of persons with autism;
  3. Encourage and implement activities that emphasize the ability of people with autism and contribute to developing their potential, strengthen their character and integration into society, as a confirmation of the realization and protection of human rights of people with autism and their families;
  4. Raising public awareness about the situation of people with autism and their families through education of citizens, especially children and young people about the importance of human rights and civil liberties, in order to influence the creation of regular positions in society to the needs, rights and potential of persons with autism;
  5. The establishment of institutional cooperation and linking of related institutions and associations in the country and abroad who work with people with autism;
  6. Development of research, information gathering, arranging and publishing the results in the field of autism in order to inform the public and informed choice of appropriate treatment methods in order to protect the human rights of people with autism and their families;
  7. Assisting and participating in professional and scientific research in the field of autism and other forms of education with the achievements in the field of human rights of people with autism and their families;
  8. Advocacy for the respect and implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Charter of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, European Convention on Human Rights and other conventions that are committed to equal opportunities and respect čjudskih rights, with particular focus on the rights of people with autism and their families;
  9. Providing financial and other assistance to socially vulnerable population of different religious and ethnic groups, especially orphans, children and adults with disabilities and ill children, with special focus on people with autism and their families;
  10. Cooperation with similar institutions and associations in the country and abroad dealing with the protection and promotion of human rights and civil liberties of people with autism and their families;
  11. Stimulation of integration of a complete person with autism and their families in all aspects of social and economic life, with full respect for the protection of their human rights and civil liberties.
