Activities

Republican Association of Serbia to help people with autism since 2007. been implementing the "Music Workshop" which succeeds in Xenia Mirkovic, music teacher, and "Dance and Movement Workshop" led by Barbara Milovanov, a professional ballerina. Within these workshops, a series of performances, such as: "Solmization", "Little Railways", "New Year's toy store," "Gusarijada", "Magic School" ...

With the play "The Magic School", on the 13-theater festival for children-"Little Fest", 2007, we performed in the review section and get a special jury prize.

With the same performance, since 2008. and the present, we appeared in a dozen cities in Serbia and in Belgrade. We visited pre-schools, day care, schools, social care (day care, stationary institutions, institutions for neglected children).

Participants music and dance workshops are 10 children with autism, and if necessary, to include their brothers and sisters. Ušesnika three children with autism from those attending regular workshops and successful music school playing instruments: violin, piano, double bass.

Following their success, interest, and pleasure, and above all their potential, we came up with the idea of ​​recording a CD. The holder of this project is the Republican Association of Serbia to help people with autism, and with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and selfless commitment composer and songwriter Xenia Mirkovic and Dusan Alagic who made the arrangements for the songs. The CD of 8 songs, of which the "Fairy Song", at which the CD title, the designated person with autism anthem of Serbia. For this purpose recorded video that follows the Serbian, and English version of the song. This project was first performed in Europe and we are very proud of. The CD was released as a regular edition of PGP RTS. Promotion was held on 17.5.2009. Theatre in Terazije. Promotion of CDs and videos is presented in the general assemblies of Autism Europe in Liverpool and Kassel. Both workshops continue to function as an activity in association with the same Republican colleagues and preparing new projects.
